Hi, Jessica! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. We’re excited to help with your magical plans!
There are a few fun and scenic ways to travel from Disney’s BoardWalk area to the elegant
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. One of the easiest options is to hop on a
complimentary Disney bus to
Magic Kingdom. You can catch a bus from any of the resorts in the Boardwalk area. Once you arrive at the park, you’ll be just a short distance from the Grand Floridian. From there, you’ve got three great choices:
Walk: Take the peaceful walking path from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian. It’s about a 20-minute stroll with some lovely views along the way.
Monorail: If you'd rather ride in air-conditioned comfort (especially on those hotter Florida days), hop on the Resort Monorail and enjoy a breezy ride.
Ferry: Catch the water launch near the park entrance and enjoy a relaxing boat ride across Seven Seas Lagoon.
Each route offers its own bit of Disney magic, so you really can’t go wrong.
If you're short on time and need to get to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa quickly, the fastest option is to reserve a Lyft or Uber. Rideshare services are easily accessible from any of the Disney resort hotel lobbies. Just head to the designated pickup area near the front entrance.
Once your ride arrives, you’ll be dropped off right at the main entrance of the Grand Floridian, making this a super convenient option, especially if you have a dining reservation or just want to maximize your time enjoying the resort.
If you're using
Minnie Van Service via the Lyft app, you'll get a touch of Disney charm with your ride, plus the added perk of Cast Member drivers who know all the best routes around the property!
Jessica, I hope you have the best time at Disney's Grand Floridian! Please stop by and visit with us again soon if you need help with dining reservations or Lightning Lane selections.
Toodles,
Korliss
