Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Mariana!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World! There’s nothing quite like that feeling of knowing you’re about to step into the "Most MAGICAL Place On Earth" soon. From the moment you see those iconic gates, it’s like the world around you transforms into pure joy and wonder. I can already tell this trip is going to be full of laughter, adventure, and those unforgettable “Disney moments” you will talk about for years!
Now, when it comes to getting from
Pop Century to
Fort Wilderness for the
pony rides, the best option is one that keeps things simple and fun, especially with a toddler in tow. Start by hopping on a Disney bus from Pop Century straight to
Magic Kingdom. Once you are there, head to the boat launch for a scenic ride over to Fort Wilderness. Currently, the pony rides have moved from
Tri-Circle-D Ranch and are now located at the stable near Pioneer Hall, which is a short walk from the boat dropoff. This is offered on a walk-up basis only, so you can just show up without worrying about reservations.
If you want the quickest and smoothest option, a
Minnie Van through Lyft can take you directly from Pop Century to Fort Wilderness, saving time and making it super convenient. Regular ride-shares will drop you at the front of the resort, but that means a longer internal bus ride. So, Minnie Vans are worth it since the pony rides are currently near Pioneer Hall.
Personally, I would avoid the bus-to-bus route (such as from Pop Century to Disney Springs to Fort Wilderness) because it’s longer and more challenging with a little one. For the most rip-roarin' journey, the bus to Magic Kingdom plus the boat ride is the way to go. It’s not just transportation, it’s part of the Disney adventure!
