What's the best way to get to the ESPN club on the boardwalk from the Contemporary? I will be using disney transportation. Also how do reservations work on game days? Can I just reserve them online like usual or do I need to call the hotline?

    Hi Alison!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The ESPN Club at Disney's BoardWalk accepts limited reservations to leave the majority of their tables open for game watching. So if you do happen to see a reservation for a desired time definitely take it.

As far as getting there, Disney's BoardWalk Inn and promenade are within walking distance of Epcot's second gate, the International Gateway, located on the west side of the World Showcase. Disney's BoardWalk also overlooks a body of water that is connected by boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios, so you have a few options. From Disney's Contemporary Resort your best bets would be:

~ Take a bus or monorail to Epcot, walk through the main entrance of Epcot and out the International Gateway towards the BoardWalk. Note - this will require and use a valid admission ticket.

~ Take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios, then catch the FriendShip Boat. This boat launch is near the bus drop off, and the boat will go directly to Disney's BoardWalk. Note - This will not use an admission ticket.

~ Walk the trail between Disney's Contemporary Resort and Magic Kingdom Park, then hop on the bus that goes to Disney's BoardWalk Inn.

~ Take a bus from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney Springs, then take a second bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Depending on how late your party stays at the ESPN club this will be your best bet of how to get back home as buses go to Disney Spring until 1 A.M., and make their final pick up of passengers to take back to their Disney Resort Hotels at 2 A.M.

I hope this helped in your planning, Alison, and We'll See You Real Soon!
