Hi there, Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney!
Including both
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—French Quarter in your itinerary is a dreamy idea. These places have a charm that is hard to forget long after you’ve spent time there, walking along the BoardWalk or biting into a warm beignet.
If you are not driving, the easiest (and best) way to get from one Disney Resorts Collection hotel to another is by paying to use the
Minnie Van Service, a rideshare service provided by Lyft. It’s a private ride that takes you from Point A to Point B without any stops. You will love the easy booking through the Lyft app and the quick ride.
Because your breakfast may be earlier than the time that the complimentary bus service runs, the Minnie Van Service is by far the easiest way. However, on the way back when you have more time, I suggest that you take the “scenic route.” From Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—French Quarter, take a bus to
Disney Springs. The buses start running to and from Disney Springs about 45 minutes before it opens. You could also hop on a relaxing boat ride down the Sassagoula River from Port Orleans to Disney Springs. From Disney Springs, you can take a bus to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Or from Disney Springs, take a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park and walk or take a FriendShip boat to your Resort hotel.
Kimberly, if you have any additional questions, give us a holler here at planDisney. Any of the panelists will be happy to share tips and tricks with you.
We’re all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
