Welcome to planDisney, Donna!
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is home to the infamous Kitchen Sink sundae. They say it's meant for four people, but I kind of see that as a personal challenge. Stopping by for a delicious snack is a "practically perfect" idea, Donna. They have a to-go counter where you can order beverages and ice cream treats. However, if you'd like to sit down and order entrees, side items, and larger sundaes (such as the Kitchen Sink), you'll need to make a
dining reservation.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is in
Disney's Beach Club Resort, a very short walk from the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT. Therefore, if you're already visiting EPCOT, I'd suggest going to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop on that day.
Getting to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop from
Magic Kingdom Park or
Disney Springs will require you to take a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort. Getting to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop from Disney's All-Star Music Resort will take you a lot longer because there isn't a direct bus that'll take you there. You'd basically have to take a bus to the front of EPCOT and walk all the way to the International Gateway entrance and then to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. The good news is that you'd burn a lot of calories walking! The bad news is that you'll be exhausted. Therefore, if you are planning on going from your hotel, you're probably best taking a
Minnie Van straight to Disney's Beach Club Resort.
I hope that's helpful, Donna! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Happy eating!
Mike
