Best water park oriented to my child ages....6 and 13?

    Janery:

When it comes to Disney's water parks, honestly, you won't be sorry with either that you choose. Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon offer lots of water slides, solid themes and unique experiences.

If you are looking to find a place that will accommodate both your younger child and teenager's swimming abilities, I'd say Blizzard Beach has the advantage. There, you'll find Ski Patrol Camp to keep your youngster busy, a family raft ride--Teamboat Springs--that is much longer than the one at Typhoon Lagoon along with a chair lift that you also won't find at TL. My kids like to race each other at the Toboggan Races as Blizzard Beach just seems like it has a few more slides.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
