    What is the best way to get from the Walt Disney World Swan Resort to Chef Mickey's inside the Contemporary Resort? We have reservations at 9:40 am. I was also wondering how much time we need to allot for transit?

    Hi Aimee,

    There are a number of ways to get from the Swan to Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Let me give you two options:

    1. You can use complimentary Disney transportation to get to Chef Mickey's quite easily.  Board a Disney bus headed for the Magic Kingdom at the Swan.  When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, board the resort monorail in front of this theme park.  Your very next stop will be the Contemporary.  From the Swan to Chef Mickey's I would allow at least 45 minutes. 

    2. If you want to get to breakfast as fast as possible, take a taxi from the front of the Swan to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  This will likely cost you around $15, but it is the most efficient use of time.  The cab ride will take you 15 minutes from your point of origin to your destination (but always try to arrive 15 minutes before your dining reservations).
