Welcome to planDisney, Julia! You’ve sent a great question! It’s surprising to some Guests that other Guests still want to walk, jog, or get in a good run when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! Even with all the walking that is done daily when visiting the theme parks, some Guests still enjoy maintaining their routines while on vacation.
I have some favorite trails at Disney World! The trail I’ve trekked most often is the path between
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom! This path is just under a mile long. Offering views of the Magic Kingdom Resorts around the Seven Seas Lagoon, the Monorail gliding overhead, and a well-maintained surface, this is the trail I like to visit for a morning run before beginning my Disney day!
Another favorite is the loop around
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The path is just under a mile and offers Guests a nice tour of the resort. I also enjoy the trail at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort that takes Guests along the beautiful Sassagoula River. I’ve also made the run between Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts to the EPCOT (back) entrance at World Showcase, which is also quite scenic!
Other resort hotels with trails include Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Additionally, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort also offer paths and trails.
Julia, I’m including a link that lists all the paths and trail offerings for walking, jogging, and running! It will provide you with a complete
rundown (get it!) of all options for keeping in good shape while visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Dreams do come true!
