What's the best way to visit Disney on a reduced budget? Where can I get discount passes etc.

    Hi Darleen,

If you're looking for a way to do Disney on a dime, I'm your girl! Walt Disney World is our family's favorite place to vacation, and we love to find new ways to do so without breaking the bank. While I won't be able to give you every single money-saving recommendation I can in this small answer box, I can get you started with a few good tips:
    • Check out Disney Value Resort Hotels. Our family found that staying on property has not only saved us money, but so much time, which is key when creating a stress free vacation. There are many discounts on resort rooms throughout the year. We've always found them right on the Walt Disney World website.
    • Pick the right tickets for your family. If you have a family that would rather enjoy one park per day instead of hopping from one to another, a base ticket would be less expensive and great for your plans.
    • Discount passes are offered all over, but you'll have to search for them. Many Guests arrive to Walt Disney World using theme park tickets and room reservations from a third party. Walt Disney World even has great special offers throughout the year. The only issue is that we don't know the exact dates of when these will be offered. For third parties, check any clubs where you may have a membership. Big box stores or even AAA will sometimes offer discounted vacation packages for Walt Disney World. If you'd like to use an official Walt Disney World discount, be sure to check into Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World social media channels (like Facebook and YouTube). This is where they will announce any deals, discounts and special offers that may come up.

I'm all out of space Darleen, but please feel free to come back and ask me any other questions about how to plan a budget-friendly Disney vacation. I'm here to help you.
