Where are the best viewing areas for MVMCP parades, shows and fireworks and are there fast passes for these areas? It's our first time. Thanks.

Hello there, Shannon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom is the most merriest party of the year! Many of the attractions receive special themed overlays, there are many festive entertainment offerings, and Guests can sample holiday treats throughout the park. As a first-time Guest, you're definitively going to want to develop a plan for your evening of magic!

There are many locations around the Magic Kingdom that provide excellent views of the various entertainment offers. However, I strongly recommend finding a spot in front of Cinderella's Castle to view both the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and the all-new Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show! This location will give you and your family a great view of both special shows as well as the "snow" that falls on Main Street, USA during the party!

FastPass+ reservations are actually not available during special events so you will not be able to make any FastPass+ selections during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. If you plan on snagging a prime viewing spot, I would suggest reserving your seat approximately 30 minutes before showtime! This should give you enough time to grab your viewing spot and relax before the shows begin.

I hope this information will assist you in continuing to plan for your very merry vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
