What is the best value or moderate for kids 3 and 7? I am worried about comfortable sleeping arrangements at a value. Also do they always run room specials in June or free dining?

    Hi Diane,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!

My family prefers moderate or deluxe resort hotels because of the amenities. The value resort hotels are also comfortable, particularly if they fit your budget! Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter or Port Orleans Resort Riverside are our favorite in the moderate category. We have also stayed at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort. The royal guest rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and pirate themed rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach are fun! My absolute favorite value resort is Disney's Art of Animation. The family suites might be a nice option for your family if you are worried about comfortable sleeping arrangements.

While I cannot guarantee when a special offer might appear, I do suggest that you periodically check the special offers page. A free dining offer just recently ended so chances are a similar offer may be available next year around the same time. Be sure to compare the resort hotel discount against the free dining package price. Free dining is not always the better deal.

Diane, when making your resort hotel choice, be sure to consider what will make your family happy! My family loves to be close to the resort monorail and Magic Kingdom theme park. Being able to walk to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort is so easy!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
