Hear ye! Hear ye! On behalf of all of us at planDisney, I’m pleased to extend a royal welcome to you, Sinmi! I have two tiny princesses of my own, so I asked them to share their favorite recommendations for a fairytale come true for you and your 10-year old.
Character Experiences: Opportunities to meet the beloved Disney Princesses abound across Disneyland Resort. Some of our family favorites include the
Royal Hall in Fantasyland in Disneyland Park, where you can meet up to three royal friends. Just across the courtyard, in the Royal Theater, you can see live performances inspired by Disney stories such as
Beauty and the Beast and
Tangled. Over in Disney California Adventure Park, the Sisters of Arendelle are awaiting you in
Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome. This character experience is found inside the Animation Building in Hollywood Land and I recommend spending a few extra minutes exploring the other offerings in this space, from the Animation Academy to the Sorcerer’s Workshop and the Beast’s Library.
Dining and Enchanting Extras: These bookable experiences may be reserved up to 60 days in before your visit, and I do recommend that you take advantage of this reservation window as they can be very popular! We love the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa for a special occasion meal. This dining event includes a three-course meal, dedicated time with several Disney Princesses, and a special gift for children. It is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! If your Little One would be delighted by a royal makeover, I suggest booking a transformation at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. A range of packages is available to fit different Guest preferences. Even if a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover package is not on your royal agenda, we recommend visiting the boutique’s merchandise location where you can ask for some “pixie dust” from a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice!
Attractions: Among the attractions that showcase the Disney Princesses and their stories of courage, kindness, and adventure, I recommend
Snow White’s Enchanted Wish in Fantasyland. Just a few steps away, you’ll find
Storybook Land Canal Boats which was an original opening day attraction when Walt Disney dedicated Disneyland Park in 1955. Step aboard a canal boat for a tour of some of the fairytale castles and scenes from legendary Disney stories – in miniature! See if you can spot Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage, Aladdin’s lamp, Elsa’s ice palace, and the rabbit hole from
Alice in Wonderland as just a few of the “easter eggs” that can be seen along the tour.
Sinmi, you are bound for a truly enchanted experience during your next Disneyland Resort visit. I hope you and your family’s trip is filled with magical memories fit for royalty! If we can help with any other recommendations, please feel free to “put our service to the test” and come back to
planDisney with your questions. You’re always welcome to Be Our Guest!
Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
Tishra
