What is the best way to utilize the deluxe dining plan? I want to make sure I get those character dinings in and make it the most beneficial to us? Also what is the best way to organize with this?

    Hello Kim!
Anyone that knows me knows that one of my favorite parts of my Walt Disney World vacation is the food!  Disney's Deluxe Dining Plan is great way to go for guests that want to experience more than one table service meal a day or enjoy eating at Disney's Signature Restaurants.
One of the best ways to utilize the deluxe dining plan is by dining at Signature restaurants which require 2 table service credits.  My recommendation for getting the maximum use out of your dining plan is to attend a character breakfast which require 1 table service credit (except for Cinderella's Royal Table) and dine at a signature restaurant in the evening which requires 2 table service credits. Typically what I make reservations for breakfast in one of the last time slots available.  This has the added benefit that the restaurants are not as crowded and we get more one on one interaction with the characters.  This especially works well with restaurants such as Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare which serve only breakfast and dinner, since the restaurants is not open for lunch it can be practically empty by the time we leave.
When organizing my own Disney vacation, I typically use spread sheets in order to keep track of everything.  I start by figuring out which parks we will be attending on which days by checking various sites that have crowd prediction calendars such as touringplans.com.  Once I have that figured out I fill in my meal slots based on the proximity to the park we will be visiting that day. I hope this helps in planning your upcoming trip and please let me know if I can help answer anymore of your questions!

    Happy Planning!
