Hi Sharon,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about moving from one
Disney Resorts Collection hotel to another on the Disney transportation system.
I love parking my car at my resort and using all forms of complimentary Disney transportation during my vacations -- the buses, Skyliner, water taxis and monorail. It's a vast network, but the transportation doesn't go directly between most resorts.
To get from the
Port Orleans Resort -- French Quarter to
Pop Century, I would hop on a bus to Hollywood Studios, then grab the
Skyliner to the Hourglass Lake Station that serves Pop Century and Art of Animation resorts. The Skyliner station is right next to the bus depot at Hollywood Studios. You will take the Skyliner to the Caribbean Beach station, then transfer to the line for Pop Century.
The Skyliner is the perfect mode of transportation for a day of resort-hopping because it connects Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach and the Riviera resorts. Plus, a ride to the Epcot station puts you near the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, Dolphin and Boardwalk resorts. You have so many options for shopping, dining, sightseeing and snacking at all these hotels.
Have fun, Sharon, and please let us know if you have any other questions.
Wilma
