What would be best 2 umbrella strollers or double side by side taking disney bus girls are 4yrs and 11months love my double but thinking it would be easier with small strollers for crowds and busses would a double be hard to navigate fits through all doors

    Hi Sheena!

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel another question!  This is really a tough question!  I have seen parents with a double stroller struggle navigating the stroller through the crowds, and folding it up to get on and off busses, however if you are like me, if you have a fabulous stroller, it is really hard to use something else.  Two strollers would definitely be easier to navigate through the Theme Parks and on buses, however, you will need two people to push the strollers, instead of just one as you would need with your double stroller.  Also, for the bus rides, that would mean you have to fold and hold two strollers, instead of just one.  Having two smaller strollers may also come in handy if your 11 month old needs a nap.  She can nap without being disturbed by her older sister.  One of you could even head back to your Walt Disney World Resort while the other stays in the Theme Parks, not leaving your four year old without a stroller during this time!

You shouldn't have trouble fitting through doors, but the crowds may definitely be an issue.  It can also be a tight squeeze navigating through the shops with a double stroller.

In the end, I would look at the pros and cons I have just mentioned and decide what would work best for you and your family.  If you are good at navigating your double stroller through crowds, stick with your stroller.  On the other hand, if you want the freedom two smaller strollers would give you, go with that option.

I hope that helps Sheena.  Please come back and visit us again as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!
