What is the best way to travel from port Orleans Riverside to Grand Floridian and how long it took?

Bonjour France! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside holds a special place in my Disney heart because it is where my husband and I honeymooned, and it was my very first Disney Resort hotel experience. I love the tranquility, the excellent recreation available and the beautiful grounds- OH- AND YeHaa Bob Jackson, of course!

The easiest and quickest way to get from location to location at Walt Disney World Resort is by personal vehicle, either your own car, a rental car, a taxi cab, and Uber or your own personal Minnie Van Service (where available). If this is not an option, I would suggest taking Disney’s complimentary bus transportation, which starts running approximately 45 minutes before Disney Theme Park opening and taking it to Magic Kingdom Park. From here, you can board the Resort Monorail over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Although it should take you a little less than an hour, a good rule of thumb is to allow yourself at least 90 minutes to travel throughout Walt Disney World Resort when using Complimentary Resort Transportation.

Have a magical vacation and remember that you can also visit us en Français over at la Tribune des mamans des parcs Disney!
