Hey, Claire!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for bringing this question to us because wasting time traveling means less time to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort.
Let's get this sorted out for you.
If you are departing after 4:00 p.m. then there will be a bus that runs directly to Disney Springs from Magic Kingdom Park. Personally, it has never taken me longer than 35-40 minutes for this trip to
Disney Springs Town Center and then on to
Splitsville Luxury Lanes.
If you go before 4:00 p.m. then transportation options change. Take the monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and catch the bus to Disney Springs. You could take the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort but it will stop at both Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa before it departs for Disney Springs. Enjoy the extra moments on the
Resort Monorail, the "highway in the sky." The total travel time will take about 60 minutes.
Please note, Disney's advises 90 minutes of time when traveling within the Resort area.
Disney Dad Tip: You can "
Get Directions" between any Disney locations with the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Claire, enjoy making many Magical Memories at
Walt Disney World Resort!
