What is the best way to travel from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian for dinner with the Princesses?

    Hi Melinda,

Sounds like you've got an exciting evening planned dining at Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare!

You can travel from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian Resort by taking the resort monorail or by taking the gold boat launch. Both are located near the right exit of the Magic Kingdom.

If you take the monorail, the Grand Floridian Resort will be the 4th stop along the line just after the Polynesian Resort.  The monorail platform is on the second floor and you can take the elevator or steps to the lobby where 1900 Park Fare is located.

The Gold boat launch will take you directly to the Grand Floridian and it is not a long walk from the boat landing to the lobby of the Grand Floridian.

The boat launch may save you a few minutes of travel time but you have to walk to the building once you arrive so they probably end up being about the same amount of time.  Because they ask that you arrive about 15 minutes prior to your reservation time, you should be fine if you leave Magic Kingdom about 35 minutes prior to your reservation.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
