What is the best way to travel from Magic Kingdom to DIsney Springs? We have no stroller and we will be leaving MK around 7.

    Hi Sondra!

Thanks for bringing your question about transportation in and around the Walt Disney World Resort! There is a myriad of options for you and your family to get around to the parks and resorts during your stay.  Disney bus transportation is vast and offers direct service from your resort to your destination of choice. Buses begin running between 45 minutes to one hour prior to park opening, and up to one hour after park close, so be sure to plan accordingly.  Water transportation is available for guests staying at certain resorts as an alternative option. Should your resort offer water taxi to the parks, as is the case with Disney's Boardwalk, Disney's Yacht Club, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Village, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resorts, you can opt to utilize that mode of transportation for your park arrival and departure.  Disney's Monorail service runs from Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to Magic Kingdom.  There is another monorail line that runs from Disney's Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom for guests who have driven to the theme parks.

Sondra, the easiest way for you and your family to head to Disney Springs post a day at Magic Kingdom is via bus transportation. Disney offers bus service from the theme parks to Disney Springs beginning at 4 p.m.  You would need to head over to the bus area directly outside of Magic Kingdom and look for the bus depot for Disney Springs.  You can then sit back and relax for your roughly 20-minute ride to the shopping and dining experiences available at Disney Springs.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
