Hi. What is the best way to travel from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary? We'd like to watch the parade at MK and then make our way to the Contemporary for dinner at Chef Mickey's. We are staying off-site and will be parking at MK. Thanks!

    Hi Natasha!
Thanks for your question. You have two options to get to the Contemporary Resort from Magic Kingdom. The first option would be to hop on the monorail that makes its first stop at the hotel. Chef Mickey's is right down the escalator on Level 4. The second option, and the one I prefer (unless you have a baby or tired children), is to walk. The Contemporary is a short (maybe 5 minute) walk to the hotel. This also helps to avoid potentially long lines for the monorail depending on crowd levels when you leave the park. By the time you exit the park and walk up to the monorail line, you would be almost halfway to the Contemporary anyway. It's a personal preference, but the walk is easy. Finally. once you finish dinner (and Chef Mickey's is a good one!), you simply hop back on the monorail and the first stop is the Ticket and Transportation Center which gets you back to your car. I hope this helps and I wish you a magical vacation! :)
