Best way to travel from the Beach Club Hotel to the California Grill at the Contemporary Hotel for dinner

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Richard!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! From the moment you arrive, you will be surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of pure Disney MAGIC. Whether you’re racing to your favorite attraction, meeting your favorite characters, or indulging in those must-have park snacks, every moment will feel unforgettable. We are counting down the days with you and can't WAIT to "See You Real Soon!"

If you’re heading from the Beach Club Resort to the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort for dinner (this is giving me "rumbly in my tumbly" vibes!), you’ve got a few enchanting ways to get there. The easiest and most reliable way is to hop on a bus from the Beach Club to the Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive, you can either take a short, pleasant walk over to the Contemporary or glide right in on the resort monorail. This route is quick, straightforward, and gives you a little dose of Magic Kingdom energy before dinner begins.

If you’re in the mood for something more leisurely (and don’t mind it taking a bit longer), you could take the FriendShip boat from Beach Club over to Hollywood Studios and then catch a bus to the Contemporary. It’s not the fastest option, but it is a peaceful ride and a unique way to see a different side of the Disney property.

Now, if you want the most stress-free, door-to-door service, you can always splurge on a Minnie Van. These vans will whisk you directly from Beach Club to the Contemporary without any transfers. The Minnie Vans even come with that extra touch of Disney MAGIC—plus, they’re super comfortable and air-conditioned. Of course, this premium option does cost more, but it’s worth it if you’re tight on time or just want to make your evening feel extra special.

No matter which route you choose, make sure to plan enough travel time so you can enjoy a relaxed arrival before heading to dinner. After all, between the sweeping views, the incredible food, and maybe even a fireworks show, you’re going to want to savor every single moment. Getting there is part of the adventure, so make it as AH-mazing as the meal that will be waiting for you.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
