What is the best way to travel from Animal Kingdom to Hollywood Studios? Staying on property and relying on Disney transportation. How long will it take? Reservation at RainForest Café at AK at 6:30 and would like to get to HS for Frozen Fireworks?

    Hello Michelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am happy to help with your very important transportation questions.  First off, if you've never been, you are going to love your trip to Walt Disney World. If you are a return Guest, then you know what I mean!

To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Animal Kingdom, simply head to the Disney Buses which are located toward the right as you exit Animal Kingdom.  Look for the bus heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios and you will be good to go.  Once you board, the travel time should be about 25 minutes or so.  Keep in mind that you may have to wait up to 20 minutes or more for the next bus if you have just missed one.  It is for that reason I would recommend that you allow an hour to an hour and a half for travel. Depending on what time you would like to arrive at Hollywood Studios, keep that in mind.

Let us know if we can assist again with other trip planning questions, Michelle.

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation.
