Best way to get transportation from Orlando Sanford airport to/from all star hotel

Hey there, Cathy. Thank you for visiting planDisney!

You're just about a week away and one step closer to your vacation. How exciting! There are plenty of options for getting from Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, whether it’s Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, or Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.

One option to entertain is booking one-way car rentals through The Car Care Center – Car Rental Facility website. Rental companies like Alamo, Enterprise, and National service both the Sanford airport and the Car Care Center. After arriving at the Car Care Center, you can use the complimentary shuttle service to your Disney Resort Collection hotel, depending on your arrival time. Or, if you prefer, you can rent a vehicle for your entire stay. One of the many benefits of being a Disney Resort Collection hotel Guest is complimentary overnight self-parking at the resort and standard theme park parking.

Other options include utilizing a ride-sharing service like Lyft and Uber, taxicabs, or booking shuttle services such as Mears, Orlando Sun Transportation, or a private company such as Away We Go Transportation. I suggest visiting the Orlando Sanford airport website and selecting "Ground Transportation & Parking" under the "Passengers" tab to explore the options that best fit your schedule and budget.

No matter what you choose, remember that as a guest at a Disney Resort Collection hotel, you have access to complimentary bus, boat, monorail, and Disney Skyliner transportation. Another fun way to travel around the resort is the Minnie Van service, available through Lyft! Open your Lyft app while on Disney World property, enter your destination and pick-up point, and select the Minnie Van, if available. I will caution you, though, Minnie Van is so convenient and fun that you may never want to arrive at the parks any other way!

I hope this helps with your planning, Cathy. If you would like more recommendations specific to your resort and your itinerary, submit me another question. I’d happily point you in the right direction to some of the top dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See you real soon!
