Hi Kylin! Welcome to planDisney.
It's "Totally Awesome" you are visiting
Disney's Pop Century Resort. This groovy location is my absolute favorite property at
Walt Disney World Resort. The larger-than-life icons make "Far Out" backgrounds for photos to share on social media and with family back home. You can even get 50th Anniversary specialty-themed treats like the
50th Anniversary Celebration Macaron at
Everything Pop Shopping & Dining.
You have several options for transportation to and from the airport to your resort. For bus service, you can opt for the familiar Mears Connect. This is the same company that used to service the now retired Magical Express. I recently used this company and I really appreciated the text messages and driver tracking features. Another bus option is the highly locomotive-themed, The Sunshine Flyer company. Uber and Lyft Rideshare continues to be very popular amongst many guests. You can always go old school and hire a taxi on level one at the airport. Car rentals tend to be very affordable from the Orlando airport. This will give you the convenience of visiting and exploring more of the Orlando area. Please note, there is a nightly fee for parking at your resort, but parking at the theme parks will be included as a resort guest. I advise you to do a quick world wide web search to connect with any of these companies. I also found many articles comparing and contrasting these transportation options.
Finally, as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, be sure to take advantage of your 30-minute
Early Theme Park Entry benefit. This will give you access to those coveted attractions before the theme parks officially open. From your resort, I find this exceptionally beneficial when rope-dropping
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT. You simply need to board a gondola for a relaxing flight on the
Disney Skyliner located right on Hourglass Lake.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
