What is my best transportation option if I want to rope drop Remy's Adventure in Epcot? We are staying at the Contemporary.

    Hiya, Paul! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is just around the corner. To quote a very famous mouse, “Oh Boy!” You’ll be immersed in the magic and enjoying all the Mickey-shaped snacks your heart desires in no time at all. Let’s make sure you know where you’re going!

Before we look at your transportation options, make sure you have the My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device. Not only can you use the app to manage your tickets and make reservations, but it also provides step-by-step directions and travel time estimates to most Walt Disney World locations.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is located near the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT, but since your starting point is Disney’s Contemporary Resort, your best option will be to head to EPCOT’s main entrance and then walk to the France Pavilion. At the time I’m writing this, you could take Walt Disney World’s complimentary bus service directly to EPCOT, an estimated 64-minute journey. Another option is to take the Monorail from the Contemporary Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and transfer to the Monorail line headed to EPCOT. That’s an approximately 51-minute trip, including the walk from the main gate.

If you really want to enter at the International Gateway in order to be closer to Remy’s, you could consider booking a Minnie Van through the Lyft app and having it drop you off at Beach Club Resort or BoardWalk Inn, and then walking to the International Gateway. This is a paid service, but it is often the more direct option since you aren’t sharing your ride with other guests.

I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Paul. Come right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
