What is the best transportation option to get from the LGB airport to Disneyland?

    Hiya Christina,

Welcome to planDisney! I can’t believe it is almost Halloween. I’m so excited but probably not as excited as you are for your upcoming vacation. I hope you will be attending Oogie Boogie Bash during your visit! The spooky season is always a blast when you combine Disneyland Resort and yummy treats.

Thank you so much for your question! Disneyland Resort does not offer transportation from Long Beach Airport or any of the other surrounding airports. Typically when I visit either Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort, I prefer to rent a car. I like having a vehicle if I want to do a last-minute grocery run. However, not everyone loves the idea of paying for parking or driving through California traffic.

Most Guests prefer to travel to the Happiest Place on Earth in the following three ways:

-Via Shuttle (the most popular being the Karmel Shuttle).
-Via Metro/Orange County Transit Authority (generally a very cost-effective option, but you will have to walk with your luggage and transfer buses to get to Disneyland Resort).
-Or via rideshare (price can vary, but it is a quick way to get to your Disneyland Resort hotel).

When I don’t rent a car, I personally prefer rideshare. Even though it can be a pricier option, I like the benefit of having a more direct route. As you weigh your options, Christina, take a look at “Getting From the Airport to the Disneyland Resort." This handy webpage provides instructions and tips for the transportation options I told you about.

I hope this was helpful, Christina. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
