    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Melvin. We're so glad you're here! We're delighted to answer your Walt Disney World Resort vacation questions.

It sounds like your big travel party is in for BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer. I once vacationed with my extended family of 14, and it made for lots of magical memories, in and out of the theme parks! When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, you'll all be eager to get to your Disney Resort hotel. If you're not interested in Mears motorcoach transportation, I recommend booking a private car service. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are certainly options, but you will need carseats for the little ones in your party, and in my experience, securing a carseat with a ride-share service is rather difficult, and often means a much longer wait when you request a car. A private car service, on the other hand, can be arranged well ahead of time, and you can request as many car seats as you need! My family used Orlando on Wheels, a private car service in Orlando, a few years ago, and we had the very best experience. I thought the service was easy to book, I was pleased with the vehicle, I was VERY pleased with the car seat and boosters we requested (3 in total!), and I thought the rate was reasonable and fair. And our driver was lovely! You can find booking information for Orlando on Wheels, along with other private car services, on the Parking & Transportation page on the Orlando International Airport website. Click on the 'Vehicles for Hire' tab and you will see a very long list of options!

Traveling with little ones in tow can sometimes be a hassle, but I'm happy to tell you that the Walt Disney World Resort provides lots of family-friendly services that make traveling with little ones a breeze. As a mom of three, I always appreciated the convenience of Baby Care Centers in the theme parks, complimentary cribs at our Disney Resort hotels, and Rider Switch for popular attractions. I know you and your party will too!

I hope this was helpful, Melvin. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
