Best transportation from Mco to Disney resorts

Greetings Angela and welcome to planDisney!

Don’t you wish we had Mickey’s mouseketools to transport us from the airport to our Walt Disney World Resort! It always seems like the last leg of the journey takes so darn long!

There are a couple of options that we use to get to our resort from Orlando International Airport.  The first and probably one of the quickest ways is to order a ride share that will take you from the airport directly to the front lobby of your resort without any in between stops.  These are easy to set up and when you follow the signs at the airport to the loading area, it is a quick and easy process.  I usually pre-arrange my ride a few days ahead of time on my smart phone app, and they have my airline information available in case we are delayed or for some happy reason we arrive early!

Another option is to book an airport shuttle service to the Disney resorts.  There are many to choose from, but there is one that if you do a quick google search you will come up with a company that offers 24/7 shuttles and offers both a “standard” and an “express” service to the resorts. You can also book a round-trip service at the time of the original booking, so you can have the return trip to the airport taken care of at the time of the original booking.
The standard service offers shared service with other guests, which will result in some stops at other resorts.  The express service states that it is a shared, direct service to the resort.

You can also choose Disney’s Minnie Van airport service to and from Orlando International Airport which is available for Guests staying in Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort hotels and Club Level rooms.
You may book Minnie Van airport service beginning 60 days in advance of your visit, up to 2 days before your visit.

Angela, on your short drive from MCO to your resort, I recommend utilizing the My Disney Experience mobile app to check into your resort room if you haven’t already done that.  Also, it’s a great time to see what's happening at your resort for the rest of the day and to check on wait times at your favorite theme park to see if you want to hop right into the magic!  Once we arrive at our resort, we always go to the quick service food area and purchase our Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs that we use for the duration of our trip!

Angela, you will have a magical time and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
