what is the best transportation from Animal Kingdom to Disney Springs and approx how much time should I allow to make my dinner reservations in time?

    Hi Shanda! Welcome to planDisney!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is super close and before you know it you'll be flying on the back of a banshee in Disney's Animal Kingdom and feasting on delicious dishes at Disney Springs. That sounds like a perfect vacation day to me!

My husband and I just returned from a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth (yes, we left the kids at home!) and left the theme parks for dinner reservations a few times, including a couple of trips to Disney Springs. We found that although no buses were traveling from the theme parks to Disney Springs, we could take a bus to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, get off the bus at the last stop (Congress Park), and stroll the gorgeous walking path to Disney Springs.

When using Walt Disney World complimentary transportation, you will want to plan for 1 1/2 - 2 hours for transportation. We did this and we were glad we did because we waited a long time for the bus to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. This isn't always the case, but you should plan the extra time!

If you want a more direct route, consider using a ride-share service instead. You will pay for the transportation, but it can get you there more quickly!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Shanda! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
