when is the best time to come to Disney in September?

    Janeen:

That depends on your definition of "best."

Best for light crowds would be the week after Labor Day, as kids are back in school. But those light crowds will stay sparse until the beginning of the last week of the month when folks begin arriving to celebrate the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot, so you've got some time to enjoy short lines.

If you're looking for Halloween decorations, any time after September 3 is good as that night kicks off the first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Cooler temperatures usually come nearer the end of the month.

If it were me, I'd go the week after Labor Day. Yes, it will be slightly warmer, but shorter lines and decor will help me keep my cool!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
