When is the best time of year to go to WDW? I have been there in July, too hot. Any suggestions?

    Hi Cathy,

If you ask ten different Disney fans this question, you're likely to get ten different answers.  The "best" time of year is a matter of personal opinion.   I will happily share my thoughts, though.

Like you, I find July too hot for visiting Walt Disney World if I plan to spend most of my time in the theme parks.  I'd be tickled pink to enjoy time at the resorts or spas in July, but theme park time can be very hot.  Therefore, my family typically prefers early December for its cool temperatures and lovely Christmas decorations, or March for its moderate temperatures and access to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.  We were just there last month and the weather couldn't have been more perfect!

If the mid-summer heat bothers you, I definitely recommend a spring or early winter visit!

Good luck with your planning, and don't hesitate to post additional questions if you have any.
