    When is the best time to visit walt Disney World?

    Hi Carol!  There are so many variables when answering a question like this.  There are months when the parks are usually at their lightest crowds which makes it nice to visit, there are months when the weather is almost perfect, there are months and times when there are special events going on, and holidays are very special at Walt Disney World but also very crowded.  I think it will truly depend on what you feel is "best".  One of the best places to see how all of this is placed out is by going to the site and seeing the calendars for each month.  They will show you what is considered lower crowd days as well as list special events taking place.     If this is your first visit you might consider a lower crowd time versus a special event.  Crowds to many first timers can be intimidating. For return guests the extra entertainment is often enticing to make their vacations just a little bit different from their previous ones!
