    What is the best time to visit in January

    Sharon, these questions are never easy to answer since it is impossible to know exactly what will be happening months down the road.  I can suggest you not visit the parks during the annual Disney Marathon week.  This will definitely draw greater numbers to the parks and resorts as well as close down various roads making transportation a bit more inconvenient.

    The dates for the 2011 Disney Marathon will be January 6- January 9.  If you are a runner this is a great event to participate in but if you are just a family wishing to visit it can be a less enjoyable time.
    Hope this helps.....anytime after those dates should be about equivalent in the benefits of a visit to Disney!
