What's the best time to visit Disney World between June and July? Thinking middle of July. Wonder about the heat, and how busy are they this time of year? Planning on taking a 5yr and 6yr old. ty.

    Hi, Michael!

    Great question!

As a teacher, we travel to Walt Disney World just about every summer, so I can surely attest that the earlier in the summer you can go, the better.

A trip in June will bring typically cooler temperatures and lighter crowds than most of July. That being said, we often travel to WDW in mid-July (just did this past summer, actually) and know that you can easily manage then, too, with a little extra planning.

First, be sure to head to the parks as early in the day as possible, so that you beat the crowds as well as enjoy the parks in the cooler morning hours. If you're ready for a break later in the day, head back to your resort from some air-conditioned time to play with a new toy or a refreshing dip in the pool. Go back into the park later, for nighttime fun once you're rejuvenated.

Also, be sure to stay in a WDW Resort hotel so that you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, especially in the a.m. This perk will enable Guests staying at select WDW Resorts to enter a particular park up to an hour before they are open to other Guests. That's the perfect time to enjoy a few attractions as well as the comparatively empty beauty of the parks in the early morning sun.

Send more questions as you think of them, Michael; we love to help!
