When is the best time to travel to Disney World with a 2 yr old?

Hi Brian! I have traveled at all different times with my grandsons and I have to say anytime is a great time for a Disney visit!  They seem to love everything about Disney no matter what!

I do think that when you travel with small children and you can literally pick anytime at all for a visit you need to consider two things...the weather and the crowds.  I hesitate to visit in the heat of the summer when the temperatures will be hot and humid and the crowds at the highest.  Small children don't have great patience and neither do the parents!

Some of the best months for a visit would be September, early to mid December, November, late January, most of February, and early May.  If swimming is a priority then pick a time like May or September when the temperatures will be warmest to enjoy this sport.  December is a fun time as the holiday spirit is everywhere and the decorations are magical.  Avoid holidays and any other time when most schools are not in session.
