Whats the best time to leave to go to Disney world if you have 8 to 9 hours of driving. I was thinking 7:00 or 8:00. but I'm not sure please write back. PS i love the panel i read it every day!!!

Hi Joyce!  As I'm sure you know all resort rooms are not guaranteed to be ready until 3:00pm.  If you are trying to coincide your arrival to that time then leaving around 7:00am is perfect.  Please remember that you need to also consider time zone changes and Florida is in the Eastern time zone.

It is perfectly fine to arrive at your resort before the 3:00pm check in time.  You simply check in at the front desk and give them a cell phone number so they can send you a message when your room is ready.  You will already have your room key and it is activated as soon as the housekeeping releases it for your occupancy.  You can store your luggage and enjoy the parks or head to a restaurant for a nice lunch.  Many guests enjoy this time to do some exploring in Downtown Disney.

No matter what time you arrive, Disney will try to make your stay as magical as possible!
