    what is the best time to take the kilimanjaro safari?

    Hi Ann,

    Most safari-goers will agree that experiencing Kilimanjaro Safari as early as possible in the morning increases your animal-spotting chances significantly.  Like my youngest son, the animals tend to take a siesta in the afternoon, and can be a bit more difficult to spot.  That being said, I've ridden the attraction several times at various times of day, and have always been able to see and enjoy many beautiful animals.  Therefore, if your itinerary only permits you to visit Animal Kingdom later in the day, I would still absolutely recommend a visit to this spectacular flagship attraction.
