Hi there Alice, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a theme park dedicated to the movies we all know and love. The silver screen has been a part of many of our lives for years. When I think of the golden age of Hollywood I think of drive-in movie theaters and sitting in classic cars. The
Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant is exactly that, ‘50s style All-American cuisine. Most of the tables are cars, and they face the big screen that plays sci-fi movie clips while you dine. Securing a reservation is usually recommended to start 60 days before visiting. You can and always should check to see if reservations are available using the
My Disney Experience App. Tap on the “plus symbol” choose “Check Dining Availability” and check for a desired date and time. If you can’t find a reservation and will be visiting Hollywood Studios, you should walk straight to the restaurant and ask the Cast Member at the front if there is a way to join the walk-up list as soon as you arrive.
If you love sci-fi then visit
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge it is cut right out of a movie set. Once you enter Batuu you will feel like you are in another Galaxy. Be careful Kylo Ren and the First Order are always walking around looking for people to interrogate. Be cool and don’t mention the resistance, that could get you in a sticky situation that even Mickey Mouse would have trouble getting you out of.
I hope this useful information helps you make that reservation. If you have any other questions about your stay stop by

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
