Hey, Soumik! Welcome to planDisney.
You've asked a very common question! The good news is that there's no bad time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. Every day of the year is magical in its own way. It really depends on what's most important to you.
If experiencing lower crowds is higher on your agenda, you'll want to visit when children are in school, avoid major holidays (e.g. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Memorial Day weekend, etc, etc.), and avoid runDisney events. Weekends also tend to be busier than weekdays.
Therefore, visiting during the following times might be your best option:
- The middle of January to the middle of February.
- The last few days in February and the first week of March.
- The last week of April.
- Weekdays in the first half of May.
- The second half of August.
- September is pretty great to visit (except avoid Labor Day).
- October is also pretty great to visit (avoid Columbus Day).
- Weekdays in November (avoid the week of Thanksgiving).
- Weekdays in the first half of December.
If you're looking at saving some pennies, the cheapest time to visit is usually early January until President's Day weekend in February. The second least expensive time is usually late August through September. Weekdays are also usually cheaper than weekends.
Finally, you might be more interested in experiencing some of the magical seasonal events at Walt Disney World. Therefore, you might want to visit when the following events are happening:
-
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts-
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival-
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival-
EPCOT International Festival of the HolidaysI hope that's helpful, Soumik. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
