When is the best time to go to Walt Disney World and the least expesive? I am a single mom of three girls (8, 6 and 2). My aunt wants me to take them all (yes her to [no she is not paying]) this year.

Your best bet is in late summer and early fall.  This is considered to be the Value Season, crowds are on the lower side.  The rates are also lower.  I would also recommend looking into staying at the Disney's Pop Century Resort.  It has one bus stop, and request to stay in the 1950's building. The building is almost as close as the 1960's building which is the closest, but you save about $10.00 a night because of an additional charge.  It also has great value rates.  You also will have the coffeemaker, which you may need some java to jump start the days.

You can book your room and only pay and initial deposit of one nights stay, and then total will be due obviously upon arrival.  If you work for a mid sized company or a hospital many times there are ways to purchase tickets through your company, as well as AAA, and then from Disney itself.  It's not going to change the price of the total package as everything at Disney is A la carte now.

You can always add on.  It's important to secure a room, as rooms sometimes book very quickly.

    Have fun!!!  Heather M.
