    What is the best time to eat at San Angel Inn in order if we want to view the illumination from the restaraunt?

    Hi Cara!

    Despite appearing like San Angel Inn is located outdoors, it isn't--that is just pure Disney magic!  San Angel Inn is located inside the Mexico pavilion.  If you would like to view IllumiNations from the restaurant, you'll need to make reservations at La Hacienda de San Angel.  I would try to get a reservation for 7:45 pm or 8 and explain (upon check-in) that you'd like a window table if one is available.  It might result in a bit of a wait, but if you explain your intentions, they might be able to accommodate.
