What is the best time of day to do the wild African trek tour?

    Hi Brandie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  I was so excited to see your question, I absolutely love Wild Africa Trek, and jump at every opportunity I have to go on this tour.  It is incredible!

After enjoying Wild Africa Trek several times, I personally enjoy the early tours the most.  First and foremost, being in Florida, the temperature during the early tours are much more manageable.  The heat hasn’t hit its peak yet and we are able to enjoy the tour without worrying about the sun.

Second, we have had more luck in seeing the animals in their habitats and actively enjoying their habitats, which is an amazing experience.  With that being said, we have never been disappointed with the animals we have come into contact with during Wild Africa Trek, I have found we have just seen more during the earlier tours.

Also, this is a personal preference, but I like the menu offered for the morning tours much more than the later tours.  I would recommend taking a look at the menu, for us it was the deciding factor in which time we like to book.

Finally, with the earlier tours, we have most of the day left to enjoy Disney’s Animal Kingdom and explore the beauty of the Theme Park.  After the tour, you have to take the time to visit Pandora - The World of Avatar for an adventure you won’t soon forget!

Regardless of the time you select, you are in for an experience of a lifetime.  The Wild Africa Trek is an amazing tour and I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
