    When is the best time to book a vacation to Disney World set for October? I love when they do the package deal, that includes hotel/tickets and the free dining plan. Do you know if this will be offered again in 2013?

    Hi again Shannon!

    October is one of my favorite months of the year to visit Walt Disney World! I've been many times during the month and each time has been Magical.

    In my opinion, the best time to visit in October, is the second weekend. The second weekend is not too close to Halloween so that you do not get the huge trick or treating crowds for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party; and you also get to experience some of the Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival!

    Disney has not released Discounts for that time of year just yet. Hopefully, they will let us know soon! I'm also not sure if they will continue with the free Disney Dining Plan as in years past. It would be very nice if they would, though!
