Hi What is the best ticket option for me - I'm retired military, and also a Florida resident, and have 3 family members visiting soon, and we want to do a day at Disney with park Hopper. (Family are not from Florida) Can I use Florida tickets for all?

Hi Andrea! You have two options going for you being a retired military and also the Florida resident when planning a Walt Disney World vacation. But each have their own restrictions so it is good to check with each option as to what works best.

The Florida resident tickets are strictly for Florida residents. There is a list of Validation Requirements that you need to look through. Unfortunately, if your family members are not Florida residents you cannot buy that ticket for them. They are pretty strict with this and all adults would have to show identification.

You will not find a huge savings for a one day military ticket. The savings is generally from 4-8% but even that can add up so anything is better then nothing.

It is going to be best for you to call and have them figure out the cost and comparison of the two different tickets. You can find that number on the Phone Directory page. They will be glad to assist you in figuring out the best economical way for your family to enjoy a day of Disney magic!
