What are the best things to do while visiting with a 5 and 1 year old? Thinking about traveling during May or June

Hi Jenna! Thanks for your question.
Glad to know you are planning to visit WDW with your little ones. My first recommendation is that you visit disneyworld.disney.go.com, and download the Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort. You will find a lot of useful information for planning a magical vacation for your family.
You will be surprised to see how well prepared Disney World is for receiving families with small kids. For an example, at all four Disney theme parks, you will find Baby Care Centers equipped with changing room, changing tables and a bathroom, a private nursing room and a kitchen area with microwave, oven and sink. A very nice and convenient place for families.
Character dining experiences are always unforgettable. Choose at least one for taking your kids. Chef Mickey’s, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a perfect place. While you dine, Mickey Mouse and some of his friends will visit you for photos and autographs. A very special experience for the all family!
I would save two days for enjoying Magic Kingdom Park. This amazing place is absolutely my first choice for your kids’ age range. Beautiful things to see, many attractions for smaller kids and meet-and-greet opportunities with Disney characters. Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade and Main Street Electrical Parade are “must-do” experiences for little ones.
I suggest you bring a stroller for spending your days at the parks. You will be able to walk everywhere, stay in lines, and your kids will have a place to relax. If you don’t want to bring you own stroller, you can always rent one at the parks.
Please, don’t hesitate to come back again if you have any more questions. I know that planning a special vacation for little kids is not that easy, there are many details to arrange in advance. Let us know if we can help you with any more information.
Wishing you and your family a magical day!
