Hi there, Donna!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to make magical memories with your toddler at the Happiest Place on Earth. We have been taking our three year old son to the Disneyland Resort since he was an infant, and we have been able to experience so many attractions and entertainment options with him at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
When it comes to
attractions at the parks, you will find there are SO many options for little ones. If your child is under 32" tall, they can ride any attraction with you that does not have a height requirement. Some examples include "it's a small world," Mad Tea Party, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Peter Pan's Flight to name just a few. If your child is 32" or taller then they can also enjoy Autopia, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. At 35" tall they can even ride their first roller coaster, Gadget's Go Coaster. My son also loved the various modes of transportation around the Disneyland Resort like the Disneyland Railroad, Disneyland Monorail, Red Car Trolley, and Main Street Vehicles.
My son has also always appreciates all the live musical entertainment you will find around both parks like Five & Dime, the Disneyland Band, and the Red Car Trolley News Boys. He also loves moving and shaking at the Disney Junior Dance Party! Plus, don't forget to meet his favorite Characters at both parks.
If you need a private space to change your little one or if they are potty-training, I'd recommend stopping by the convenient
Baby Care Centers located in each park. My son loves the miniature toilets that are perfect for tots his size.
Your kiddo is going to have an absolute blast. Have a magical day!
