Hi Cheri,
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! My son is in his early twenties and my daughter is a teenager so I understand trying to choose restaurants everyone will enjoy. We have diverse tastes in food so picking our dining choices for our vacations is always a bit of a challenge. Fortunately, Walt Disney World Resort has an incredible number of restaurants with a great variety of menus and food styles.
I asked my kids their favorites in a number of categories so hopefully, this will help with your planning. Their favorite character meal is any meal at
Tusker House Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. They prefer a late breakfast but say you cannot go wrong with a meal here. For a memorable signature restaurant, they both agree that a meal at
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort is amazing. The food is unbelievable, the service is impeccable, and the view is not to be missed. The first category they do not agree upon is the best Quick-Service Restaurant for teenagers. My daughter highly recommends
Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park while my son thinks
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in
Disney's Hollywood Studios is not to be missed. Last but not least, I asked them what their recommendations would be for
Disney Springs. My son thinks
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' will satisfy even the pickiest eater while my daughter believes
Morimoto Asia is the obvious choice.
Both kids suggested that you have your teenagers check out some of the menus online. There were some restaurants they were certain they were not interested in but changed their minds when they saw the menus.
Cheri, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions before your visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
