    Best suggestions for celebrating Mother's Day @ Disney?

    Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate any special occasion. How exciting that you'll be able to celebrate the most important (and often under-valued) person in the family at The World's Most Magical Celebration. Moms are the best! 

    Did you know that many restaurants around Walt Disney World have special Mother's Day treats. For example, if you visit EPCOT on May 8 you'll be able to purchase the following Mother's Day desserts:
    • Strawberry-pistachio dome with strawberry-lemon gel and ruby chocolate powder (Coral Reef Restaurant)
    •  Strawberry mousseline, pistachio chiffon, strawberry jelly, caramelized chocolate crumble, and raspberry meringue (Le Cellier Steakhouse)
    • Red velvet cupcake with chocolate chip fudge filling and caramel buttercream (Sunshine Seasons)

    There are also many Disney Resort restaurants that are offering Mother's Day desserts. In fact, Steakhouse '71 is even offering a Mothers' Day brunch. 

    Also, the fabulous EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is currently happening? This is many people's favorite EPCOT festival. I'm actually going this week and I can't wait! I think this festival would be the perfect place to enjoy Mother's Day. Look out for the stunning topiary displays of Disney characters and the gorgeous gardens in bloom around World Showcase. And, of course, try some of the unique and delectable food and drink on offer at the various outdoor kitchens. Everything tastes as good as it looks!

    Another idea is to enjoy some shopping at Disney Springs. Let mom treat herself at the various stores. There may even be some special Mother's Day items on sale. 

    You can also check out the Enchanting Extras Collection. You'll discover a number of magical experiences that you can book for any special occasion. Here are some of my top suggestions:

    - Book a private Capture Your Moment photo session at Magic Kingdom Park.
    - Go and see Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney. (I watched this show in December and absolutely loved it!)
    - Experience Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour.
    - Relax and unwind at The Grand Floridian Spa.

    One final suggestion is to let mom decide what she'd like to do! Moms spend so much of their life serving others and putting the needs of their family above their own. Mother's Day should be different!
