what is the best stroller for a 4 month old? Are they available or should we bring our own? He is obviously not sitting up.

    Hi there, Kathy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here so soon!!  How exciting!!  Before you know it, you will be at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” making some incredible memories and I love that you are bringing a tiny Mousketeer with you to experience the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  Even though that little one won’t remember it, you certainly will, and those memories will last a lifetime!  And, hopefully you have already purchased Memory Maker so that each of those memories makes its way home with you and you can, one day, reminisce about this vacation with that (much bigger) Mousketeer!

But, boy, oh, boy does traveling with little ones require a lot of preparation!  I remember many vacations when my little ones were itty bitty that we had an entire suitcase filled with diapers, bottles and formula!  Needless to say, we had plenty of room for all the souvenirs we acquired during our vacation, but it certainly required planning ahead!  But, in the event you do forget or run out of something, the Baby Care Centers at each of the theme parks have all the essentials available to purchase!  Be sure to locate those on the park maps and utilize them for diaper changes, feeding times, or just taking a break from the inevitably long days at the theme parks!  That being said, I would highly suggest bringing your own stroller with you for that little one.  The strollers available to rent at the theme parks are made of molded plastic and while they will get the job done, they are definitely not best suited for infants.  I am more than certain that your little one (and you) would be much happier with your own stroller – or with renting one from a local company for use during your vacation.

If you do bring one from home, make certain that it meets the stroller size requirements as stated in the park rules.  If uncertain about the size of your stroller, check the manufacturers website for the exact measurements!

Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation!  Please come back with any other questions you may have!
