Hi Heather,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am happy to answer your excellent question about
stroller rentals at Walt Disney World Resort. I hope you continue to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with all of your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions!
Heather, for convenience sake, I recommend renting a stroller at one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks or
Disney Springs. At 4 and 7 years old, your children can easily transition from a rental stroller to a bus or any other
Walt Disney World Resort transportation option of your choice. If you rent a stroller(s) through one of the Disney Featured Providers, you will need to carry it on and off buses, boats and the Monorails.
Additionally, if you rent a stroller at one of the theme parks or Disney Springs, it will not utilize any space in your Disney Resort hotel Guest room. Please keep in mind that if you rent one through a Disney Featured Provider, it will need to stay with you at all times and will utilize space in your Guest room. I think that your children will be okay without a stroller at your Disney Resort hotel.
If you think your children can handle walking from the stroller rental locations to the Monorails, bus stops and marinas after a long days at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, then renting a stroller at the theme parks seems like the "practically perfect" choice for your family.
Heather, if you have any additional questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are all EARS!
